More First time patient! No one accepted my jobs dental coverage but they did. They sent the forms to fill out before hand so when I arrived everything moved smoothly. They called me back before my appointment time, took lots of pictures and X-rays. They are very efficient and knowledgeable and EVERYONE had a SPECTACULAR attitude!!!Cleaned my teeth perfectly, talked to me about daily care, suggested some things for a better smile but I never felt pressured. I had to wait a little while to be seen and on numerous occasions the dental assistant came and apologized to me. While I was having my procedure done. they were making jokes so I really was very comfortable and relaxed. They really care about their patients 👍👍

More When I first started coming here I was terrified of going to the dentist due to some prior experiences with other practices. I wasn't just self conscious about my smile, I hated opening my mouth. It prohibited me from speaking, feeling comfortable eating in public, laughing, and singing, amongst other things. One day someone close to me passed away, someone I loved very much, and they always told me that the world can be a better place when you make the choice to smile, so I said a prayer, I cried a lot, lol and I made a promise to do whatever it takes to find a way to fall in love with my smile... I thought if I changed my smile I could change my world, but I was still afraid. I thought it was by pure dumb luck that I stumbled on the best dentist office in NY. When I walked I to smile cafe, I was still afraid... Before every appointment I brought 2 stress balls just to squeeze my way through the discomfort, and every single time, the staff at this office was there to comfort me and help me through the promise I made. I didn't have to explain my story, or why I was there. They were so nice to me I immediately assumed that I couldn't afford their care, but they met my fears with a plan of action and support. Sometimes, on the tough days, an extra staff member would come over and hold my hand and rub my shoulder when was overwhelmed. In my mind I felt like they cared about me as much as I was trying to care about me, and it really made the difference. For some places you are just an appointment in an assembly line of patients that needs attention. At this office Dr. Noor and his ENTIRE TEAM, make it a point of service to ensure that you are cared for, that you are healthy, that you are comfortable, and that you keep your promise and smile. Now, thanks to them, I talk and I eat a lot, lol. I laugh out loud and I sing like no one is watching, lol... but more importantly, I smile... and my friend was right because sometimes, even this crazy world that we live in finds a way to be more beautiful than I ever imagined.

More Dr. Daniel Noor, Dr. Luis Umana, Ingirth Garcia and the rest of the team here have provided such a life changing experience. Right from your first step in, everyone remembers and greets you by your name. Helpful, caring and charming. I always struggled with my smile and even more so on fixing it. I had been to a handful of orthodontists prior to my visit here, where all had requested a heavy scale and frightening procedure. I've been on Invisalign now for the past 3 years and I'm starting to wonder what it will feel like to be finished soon. All my visits here feel like visiting good friends, and I actually look forward to catching up with everyone. From orthodontal to dental work here, I have never before been happier about my smile. It's not an easy endeavor to go through, but the Smile Cafe crew here has been supportive and encouraging every step of the way. Even more so, the good habits of brushing they've instilled upon me. Following through on this commitment ensured that I would achieve the best possible outcome.

More Very thorough and in depth check up. Never have I received as much information about my teeth and gums from a dentist and explanations on why certain conditions are there and how to properly treat them. I usually feel like I’m being taking to the cleaners when I go for a visit as the dentist always recommends a number of treatments I “need” but nothing was pushed on me here. My options however were explained for more long term issues which weren’t urgent. The doctor also examined my tongue and alerted me to a possible issue (more than likely due to my teeth rubbing against it on one side) that I should get checked by a medical doctor just in case so all in all I am extremely happy with the visit and couldn’t recommend them enough.

The practice is very organized and they stick to the appointment time. Maybe one feedback about being too organized is that they send out multiple appointment reminders so it could get a bit overwhelming.

I even forgot I purchased the whitening on Groupon because they treated me better than places with services I've paid full price for. Everyone I've encountered here from patient advocate, coordinator, techs, and dentist provided superior - and I mean this, best of the best - service. Tech Marcella did such an amazing job on stripping my 30 years of stained teeth but more importantly, she thoroughly walked me through every step and constantly checked in to assess my experience. That really meant a lot. Then there was Dr. Noor who not once tried to push me to purchase more products/services (which is what I'm used to with other Groupon purchases) but he took his precious time to offer me an overview of my teeth and very helpful tips on maintaining preventative/good dental health. More I think that most people agree that going to the dentist is not exactly their favorite activity. I originally was going here for Zoom that I got on Groupon, however they informed me that I need to get a note beforehand from my dentist that my teeth are in good condition etc. --mind you, I loathe my current dentist. So I told them that wouldn't be possible however I would love to see them (call it a try out) for a cleaning, x-rays etc. They were able to fit me in later that day (PS, this is yesterday).
When I walked in, everyone was super, super warm and friendly. But now let's talk about the actual process: the x-rays were extremely thorough, but the clean... never have I ever dealt with a more gentle hand. I was shocked. My teeth looked WHITE and felt great after! I am forgetting the name of my doctor (pardon), but she was lovely, calm and very friendly! Still going to do a Zoom for an extra punch though ;). Excellent service (they take my insurance), and well... they officially gained a new patient.

Smile Cafe was superb from calling and making an appointment to the time I left the office (happy). Kristi explained my options for appointment times based on my issue and sent the necessary registration papers via email. She was very knowledgeable and cheerful.
Smile Cafe exhibited the proper protocols for COVID-19: temperature check, hand sanitizer availability, and appropriate spacing between clients and personnel were applicable. I waited less than 5 minutes to be seen.
Maya, a dental assistant and Dr. Chowdry were exceptional. I'm always a little anxious when going to a new dentist. Both of them explained what they were doing each step of the way which helped to put me at ease and relax. I would recommend Smile Cafe.

More My story began when I was around 12y/o, in a country where i came from, doctors told me that it was too late to straighten my teeth as allegedly whatever I could have done to them, I had to do it at the age of seven or earlier. they basically ruined my youth as it was only 20 years ago. I was always dreaming to smile with a pleasure, without any shame, as I don't remember myself experiencing such a pleasure which turned a happy human being, into the kind of a sad and unhappy person. in 2011 when I was 25 at the time, I had a consultation with a dentist Oleg at "Omni clinic", who urged me to do veneers, which cost about 25k, and told me that was the only option I had with the case like that, at the time i was a student I could not afford such a pricey treatment, and therefore decided to start saving for future treatment. Last year, in Nov 2017 , i finally decided to put an end to this problem, and went to NYU dentistry hoping that professors may have a better opinion. One of the professors at the NYU advised me to go with invisalign aligners, although he warned me that not every doctor will take my case, he advised me the following "knock 100 doors until you find one". I was so tired of my ongoing issue that I decided not to back off. I made a list of top 10 doctors in NYC, visited 8 out of ten and every doctor took impressions scans and photographs. Reviewed my case carefully. Guess what all of them suggested that the case was extremely bad and that there was no option to do it without getting rid of couple of teeth on top and 1 on the bottom. I was very upset because I have red many reviews from patients who end up pulling teeth because this affects the shape of the person's mouth. Until I met this professional happiest man in the world, yes Dr. DANIEL NOOR. he was the only one who did go forward with my case, he was the one who said YES to invisalign without taking any tooth off my mouth. He gave me back my smile and I'm super happy for choosing him!!!!!! Sorry for typos. And yes I have never believed in magicians or their existence, but guess what, I now do, because Dr. Noor had done a magic work. A++++++++++

At the end, I got to speak to the dentist one on one and look at the before and after pics. He explained options for retainers/braces and was very friendly. More I arrived just a few minutes before my appointment time and was seen almost right away. All of the staff members were remarkably friendly and warm, while also doing their jobs well. My dental hygienist walked me through my x-rays and plan of care before cleaning my teeth. She carefully reviewed my concerns and questions and gave me a thorough, yet gentle cleaning. Dr Noor was also very personable and took his time to speak with me after my cleaning.
I highly recommend this dental care team: modern and organized, while also maintaining a friendly and light atmosphere. I had an excellent experience here. Who ever says that about their trip to the dentist? ;)
More I arrived at Smile Cafe approximately 30 minutes before my cleaning appointment. I was happy to see my X-rays, that my previous dentist had sent, was already in my file. The waiting area was unique and clean; the front desk lady was very nice. I was taken in the back where the assistant took some pictures and prepared me for the hygienist. The assistant was very knowledgeable and answered all of my question. The hygienist was very thorough and also answered all of my questions; she was even able to hand scale, then use the Cavitron as well; she then polished (some clinics do not hand scale nor do they polish!); so this was great. I could tell she was really trying to get some of the stains/plaque out of some areas and not just quickly go over every tooth. Then she gave some great pointers on oral hygiene and was even able to answer many of my specific questions (I am a dental student so I asked a lot of questions so I can learn). Then the doctor came and he was great; nice, patient, explained everything and even answered all of my dental questions for approximately 30 minutes. The doctor made me feel really comfortable coming there just for a cleaning; sometimes dentists don't spend any time with you, once they realize you have no health issues and just came for a cleaning. He even made a diagram for me and used props to help me better understand some of the technical questions I asked him. The location was very convenient because of buses, subways and of course taxis everywhere in NY. As a second year dental student at NYU with some basic understanding of procedures and how a clinic should be run, this place was great!

More I was eagerly searching for a new dentist/hygienist online, because I felt that the one I had previously did not do the job thoroughly. At my previous dentist I would go in and come out feeling the same. On the other hand, it was love at first sight for me when I visited Smile Cafe. I found Smile Cafe on ZocDoc and was able to make an appointment myself easily; and on top of that I filled out all the forms online. When the appointment time arrived I didn't have to do anything at all because they already had it in the system. When I got there the secretary offered me something to drink. The office is very clean, and everything is decorated so vibrantly. The assistants are THE BEST! They greet you in a friendly way which made me feel like I knew them for years. My appointment was at 3pm and they called me in at like 3:07 (my wait time wasn't so long since I pre filled all forms online). I met MELANIE which was my hygienist. Now she is a true professional. SHE DID THE JOB! Everything was so perfect. It made me love visiting the dentist even more. I just hope other people will love it as much as I do. I will definitely refer this to all my friends!

Finally, Smile Cafe has a policy of $75 if I miss or reschedule an appointment within 48 business hours, which I appreciate because it means that my appointment start time will always be honored -- they will rather turn away people who are chronically late then have them negatively affect other patients.

More After a 1 1/2 yr Invisalign treatment with another dentist, I was not happy with outcome and my bite was very far off. I found Dr. Noor, and he set me up with lingual attachments (attachments that go on the back side of your teeth, so as not to be visible). very few dentists in the country know how to use these, and they are so much more aesthetically pleasing. He also set me in trays that I could change out on a weekly basis. as opposed to the ones for every two weeks. What a huge difference that made. The trays fit better, they were more sanitary, and were much more comfortable because the movement did not have to be as extreme as they were when the trays were designed to stay in for two week periods. And instead of having to pull teeth (a recommendation from an experienced orthodontist), Dr. Noor had the foresight to see that it would be better to just open a space where my missing pre-molar should have been (i was born without this tooth), then a implant or bridge could be placed.
I can't even tell you how much it means to have my bite back and be able to chew food properly. I will be forever grateful to Dr. Noor for what he has done for me.
If anyone is researching dentists for Invisalign treatment, I highly recommend you see Dr. Noor for treatment. Even if you don't live in New York. You can fly in for one or two appointments and the trays can be sent to you. He can work with you long distance as long as you send him updated photos.
I say- Get it done right the first time. It will be so worth it!

Over the few years I've been in treatment, Dr. Noor has been excellent in working with me and my specific situation to hide the attachments from view of my smile since I work as a TV producer as well as a model. In fact, recently I got my first print advertisement due to my "winning" smile. The office is very clean and bright and they strive to take you at your designated time without waiting. My referrals and other friends who are patients have also had very positive experiences with Smile Café. I have been a patient of Dr. Noor’s and the Smile Café for years. I visit the office regularly for routine dental care and have also been an Invisalign patient, as well as one of other cosmetic and specialty services, such as in-office whitening procedures. More I , in my 23 years of livng, have never experienced a more comfortable dental exam than I did at Smile Cafe. That was actually the best doctor visit I've had for anything! More I went here for my first invisalign treatment and I was treated extremely well while I was there. Although it was pretty pricey, even with discounts, and I was a full time student back then, they made a payment plan that worked for me. The results were amazing, so amazing that I actually take my children there for their braces treatments.

More I came in to get Invisalign almost a year ago. I really didn't know what to expect, but knew I wasn't happy with my smile. The results have been beyond anything I could ever imagine. Not only are my teeth perfectly straight, but my smile is wider! The results are better than anything I could ever imagine and I now get compliments on my smile all the time.
Additionally, I have friends that are also using Invisalign at different offices and through the discussions with them I feel that my results have been faster with having less time at the dentist office.

First time patient! No one accepted my jobs dental coverage but they did. They sent the forms to fill out before hand so when I arrived everything moved smoothly. They called me back before my appointment time, took lots of pictures and X-rays. The team at Smile Cafe Dental is absolutely amazing! The customer service and attention to details is immaculate and everyone there treated me with care. Dr. Noor was super informative about my TMJ and the steps I need to take in order to correct it. He took the time to explain all options to me and sit with me and go over my x-rays, exams etc. This was one of my easiest dental appointments and I will be coming back and visiting the team very soon!

The staff are so friendly and welcoming especially Ronnie. Dr. Gober is amazing. I had to wait a little while to be seen and on numerous occasions the dental assistant came and apologized to me. While I was having my procedure done. they were making jokes so I really was very comfortable and relaxed. They really care about their patients 👍👍

When I first started coming here I was terrified of going to the dentist due to some prior experiences with other practices. I wasn't just self conscious about my smile, I hated opening my mouth. It prohibited me from speaking, feeling comfortable eating in public, laughing, and singing, amongst other things. One day someone close to me passed away, someone I loved very much, and they always told me that the world can be a better place when you make the choice to smile, so I said a prayer, I cried a lot, lol and I made a promise to do whatever it takes to find a way to fall in love with my smile... I thought if I changed my smile I could change my world, but I was still afraid. I thought it was by pure dumb luck that I stumbled on the best dentist office in NY. When I walked I to smile cafe, I was still afraid... Before every appointment I brought 2 stress balls just to squeeze my way through the discomfort, and every single time, the staff at this office was there to comfort me and help me through the promise I made. I didn't have to explain my story, or why I was there. They were so nice to me I immediately assumed that I couldn't afford their care, but they met my fears with a plan of action and support. Sometimes, on the tough days, an extra staff member would come over and hold my hand and rub my shoulder when was overwhelmed. In my mind I felt like they cared about me as much as I was trying to care about me, and it really made the difference. For some places you are just an appointment in an assembly line of patients that needs attention. At this office Dr. Noor and his ENTIRE TEAM, make it a point of service to ensure that you are cared for, that you are healthy, that you are comfortable, and that you keep your promise and smile. Now, thanks to them, I talk and I eat a lot, lol. I laugh out loud and I sing like no one is watching, lol... but more importantly, I smile... and my friend was right because sometimes, even this crazy world that we live in finds a way to be more beautiful than I ever imagined.

Dr. Daniel Noor, Dr. Luis Umana, Ingirth Garcia and the rest of the team here have provided such a life changing experience. Right from your first step in, everyone remembers and greets you by your name. Helpful, caring and charming. I always struggled with my smile and even more so on fixing it. I had been to a handful of orthodontists prior to my visit here, where all had requested a heavy scale and frightening procedure. I've been on Invisalign now for the past 3 years and I'm starting to wonder what it will feel like to be finished soon. All my visits here feel like visiting good friends, and I actually look forward to catching up with everyone. From orthodontal to dental work here, I have never before been happier about my smile. It's not an easy endeavor to go through, but the Smile Cafe crew here has been supportive and encouraging every step of the way. Even more so, the good habits of brushing they've instilled upon me.
